CROSSFIT DIRTY LITTLE SECRET

CF dirty little secrets!! I have gone to CF in the passed; however, I am not a reg attender due to my workout focus is different from CF focus. I believe in hitting isolated muscle groups on certain days,  I strongly believe in rest time, and most importantly, listening to body.

My hubs treated a patient, who almost died, from a CF workout. Some thing tells me this is not unheard of in the CF community. Interesting read! https://medium.com/p/97bcce70356d

Reality of Fitness...

It seems that every girl desires to be a fitness model and the titles that stir from it. Social media has taken the fitness industry to a whole new level—creating this alluring and misleading life of a fitness competitor.

Unfortunately, a person (Facebook Fan Fitness “Athlete” and bloggers alike) can be any thing they want to be and just about say any thing that the audience wants to hear, and people will always BELIEVE it.! The reality is we all have bad days.! We have hurdles, we can’t jump.  Days, where we have no DESIRE to go to the gym. Failures and major set backs that some times cannot be controlled.

The truth is NO ONE is PERFECT. No one has a perfect body! Stop comparing yourself to some silly fitspiration and compare yourself by becoming your next best.

I will be honest and tell the truth. I will be real with my readers and allow them see my flaws and my strengths. I will help people that I know and that deserve my time. In the past, people would use me just so they can benefit from me. This has left to trust no one and leaving me doubt the friendship to begin with.

Social Media has created these images of fitness competitors depicted images that majority of the population may not be able to reach. Women see these images and read quotes and then they are left  feeling NOT ENOUGH as their own lives are no where compares to what they are reading on a daily basis.

WE ARE ENOUGH! WE WILL NOT BE DEFINED, STRICTLY, BY OUR OUTER BEAUTY, BUT WE WILL LET OUR INNER BEAUTY SHINE EVEN BRIGHTER!

I begin to stop following a few fitness “Athletes” on facebook. I got tired of hearing how amazing everyday is and how motivated they are to workout. Don’t be wrong, I LOVE BEING AND HEARING POSITIVITY, but some people take that to extreme and our never real with their audience.  They NEVER show the failures, the setbacks, and reality of life. “It’s not perfect!” Stop trying to cover up the blemishes.

Being happy with yourself doesn’t mean you need approval or validation from the world. It doesn’t mean that you need to tell everyone about it. It means you are happy within yourself. You can live life at peace with who you are and where you are at in life.

I encourage you to continue to reach your goals and dreams. I just wish the industry and people alike were more honest and would tell how the industry really is. For now, we will be content with who we are and know that we are worthy of achieving or goals and dreams.
